Residencies and Fellowships

The Department of Radiology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center is proud to offer the highest level of training at both residency and fellowship levels. Our four-year, ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program continues the department's long history of training successful academic and private practice radiologists. The program is under the direction of Kevin W. Mennitt, M.D., the Radiology Residency Program Director, with a large, strong full-time faculty actively involved in teaching. With our partners in residency training, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and the Hospital for Special Surgery, expert instruction is provided in all aspects of diagnostic radiology.

Our two-year ACGME-accredited Nuclear Medicine Residency Program, under the direction of Sophia T. Kung, M.D., Nuclear Medicine Residency Program Director, provides specialized training in both diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine.

Our Fellowships in abdominal imaging, magnetic resonance imaging, neuroradiology, vascular interventional radiology, interventional neuroradiology, and women's imaging provide the opportunity for radiologists to further develop specialized skills and prepare as leaders in their respective fields.
