Residency Program Director: Joseph R Osborne, MD/PhD
Our three-year ACGME-accredited Nuclear Medicine Residency Program (ACGME Number: 2003511052) provides specialized training in both diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine.
Training in the core competencies of image interpretation, radioimmunotherapy procedures, and molecular imaging research is provided by dedicated Nuclear Medicine / Radiology faculty. Our on-site cyclotron capabilities permit us to focus on new imaging modalities and radioisotope therapies, including exposure to molecular imaging, which is increasingly a part of patient management.
The Nuclear Medicine facilities at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell have recently undergone renovations resulting in a spacious, quiet, and bright environment in keeping with our state-of-the-art equipment, which includes:
Further strength in research and clinical applications in PET/CT is provided by the Citigroup Biomedical Imaging Core (CBIC), located two blocks away from the main campus. CBIC has one GE PET/CT Discovery LS scanner, in addition to two 3.0T MRI and a cyclotron. http://www.weill.cornell.edu/research/cbic/index.html
Applicants must meet the prerequisite training as required by the ACGME and RRC. For all inquiries regarding the Nuclear Medicine / Molecular Imaging Program should be addressed to:
